I’m interested in how business experience, useful connections and thoughtful support can help educational and charitable initiatives develop.
My strongest current interest is in education and technology access, particularly in Zambia, alongside developing interests in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. I value learning from people who understand their communities and the priorities they identify.
My interests include secondary and post-secondary education, opportunities for girls and young women, scholarships and student support, technology and computer access, and strengthening schools and educational institutions.
Where practical, I prefer approaches that strengthen institutions and benefit multiple students over time, while recognizing that individual support can also be meaningful when it responds to a clearly identified need.
Access to computers, digital tools and reliable information can expand what students and institutions are able to do. The most useful solutions, however, are practical, maintainable and suited to local circumstances.
Technology by itself does not solve educational problems. It works best when it supports strong teaching, thoughtful leadership and the needs identified by the people who will use it.
Zambia is currently my strongest geographic focus, shaped by a family-history connection, firsthand visits and developing relationships with schools, alumni, charities and local leaders.
I am especially interested in girls' education and practical technology access, and in learning where carefully directed support can create lasting value.
My interest in Asia is developing primarily around the Philippines and elsewhere in Southeast Asia, particularly education and access to college or university opportunities.
As in Africa, I am most interested in ideas grounded in trusted local relationships, clearly identified needs and a realistic plan for lasting usefulness.

I welcome conversations where sharing a business perspective or connecting people and ideas could be useful, with any further involvement considered individually.
